It’s been an amazing trip, I don’t want it to end..

But..

I’m now on dry land, having a beer in a pub by the river, with a couple of friends, Pita and May..

We are just hanging around in the sun, passing the time until we fly back to Melbourne later today.

Back to work this week and on to planning the next adventure..

I’ll let you know some more of the details of the party weekend in tomorrows post.. I’m off for another pint..

Check out all of my photos of the weekend on facebook..

Love ya.

“The Espy”…

So yesterday afternoon, I popped to fitzroy, a couple of suburbs over from where I’m living, to see some friends at their shared house. I had planned to stay a couple of hours and then head home…

One of my friend’s living at the house is a full time musician and invited me along to his bands last residency gig at a venue in St Kilda called “The Esplanade” or “The Espy”. I went along and had a brilliant time, the band was great and a large group of us all went back to the house after the show for a little after party..

….I got home this afternoon at 12:30pm.

That’s me for the day now, a lazy day ahead, doing nothing… … recovering.

Life’s all good here in Australia, right now it’s 1.30pm,  31°c sunshine and blue sky.

Happy days!

Peace x

A lazy day…

I’ve had a really lazy day, I was going to visit a gallery or two today but I woke up late…

So that went out of the window.

I’m going to spend tomorrow, my birthday doing that now, then tomorrow evening I’m going to get pretty pissed I’d imagine.

I’m just going to get my hair cut today and probably go for a few drinks tonight. Nothing too heavy as I’ll have a big one tomorrow.

The weather is perfect for me today, it’s 1.00pm now and 26 degrees, a lovely cool breeze with a high of 30ish degrees at its peak.

So after the haircut I think it’s back home to soak up some rays in the garden with a couple of nice cold beers.

That’s pretty much it for my day, I’ll let you all know if anything exciting happens throughout the rest of today in tomorrows post.

Down by the river…

I went for a stroll along the Yarra river this morning and watched the world go by..

After a coffee and a leisurely walk along the river, the temperature started to approach 43 degrees so I’ve basically spent the rest of my day sweating it out at home..

I’m back into work tomorrow, which I’m dreading as its probably going to be close to 50 degrees in the kitchen! Not much fun but apparently the cool change is set to come late tomorrow afternoon/evening. I’ll probably be having a few beers tomorrow after work to recover..

‘Til the next installment…

St Kilda…

Today I headed off to St Kilda and spent some time at the beach.

It’s a beautiful place and the weather was lovely, around 35 degrees.

Better than Felixstowe??

I spent around 4 hours wondering around, checked out the local shops and cafés and went to a couple of places for a few beers.

I’m off work again tomorrow and it’s going to be above 40 degrees..

I’ll probably check out Brunswick as I’ve been told by a couple of people it’s a pretty cool area.

Check out the rest of my photos from today..

Keep watching this space for more posts…
